Condolence From: Julie Tuck
Condolence: I just happened to see Frank's obituary in the paper. I worked at St. Ann's for a short time. Frank was definitely my favorite resident. He always had a good attitude. His laugh was infectious.

One day at a meal, I was at another table helping another resident eat. I was in the room alone with the residents. We somehow got on the topic of whistling. One resident said she had never learned to whistle. I told of using my fingers to whistle and how it really helped as a parent to call out to our children at times. Suddenly, from across the small room came a whistle! I said, "Frank, was that you?!" He said, "Yes"! Then laughed. I said, "Do it again!" Which he did! We all laughed.

It was surely my honor to have met him. God rest his soul. I won't forget him!

Condolence From: DOROTHY FLOWERS PERVANGER
Condolence: By the grace of God, we had Uncle Frank for 95 years! Our prayers go out to all of Uncle Frank’s families at this time of loss. May the memories of Uncle Frank (and Aunt Alice) surround all of you and bring you comfort during this difficult time.

I was happy I was able to visit with Uncle Frank at the Holy Trinity Festival in 2014. I am uploading 4 pictures from that visit that I am happy to share. I hope they bring you some comfort and smiles as big as the ones on Uncle Frank’s face in these pics – a smile he had for everyone! I’ve also included 3 pics of Uncle Frank from our days as kids (including one of Uncle Frank in the Navy in San Francisco and Aunt Alice playing cards at our house)! We had so much fun during those trips to Lake Michigan after Church on Sundays in the summer. And the “card sharks” that all the aunts and uncles seemed to have been!

I am sorry I can’t be there today but I am there in spirit and thoughts. Please accept Frank and my deepest sympathy as we, too, recall our best memories of Uncle Frank through the years.
