Day in Grand Haven MI

This past summer Nan and I went to Grand Haven for an Arts Show.  We had a great day. Lots of laughter and walking!

It was on the main street in Grand Haven.  It was funny even Nan said well I could do that!  WOW the arist can sell it for that much!  WOW!.  We (Mary Ellen and I) were always telling her she was good and could sell her work.

Anyways Nan I went into a jewlry store where you can buy or make your own jewlry. We spent over an hour here.  Nan loved it!  The store had everything to make your own plus the class time.  Nan and Mary Ellen even were able to attend some classes.

Nan had her very first.....  Pronto Pup!

She thought it was so silly that people would stand in line for so long and buy so many at one time.  We were laughing about it but she did eat 2 of them herself!

When we first started walking and talking she didn't want to walk all the way down to the pier.  That would just be too long of a walk.  But as we talked and people watched, sure enough we were down to the beach before you knew it.  Nan couldnt believe she walked all that ways!

It was just a fun light-hearted day.

I will always treasure it.
